Girls Varsity Basketball Results
The girls finished 10-10, the second best record in school history. The girls really accomplished a lot and improved tremendously.
We look forward to next year with almost everyone coming back. We will miss our one 8th grader Stephanie Miles who has finished
an incredible career.

The girls played well, but couldn't score enough to win.

It was an exciting back-and-forth game in which the girls came up a little bit short.

The girls were able to overcome a great comeback by St. Raphael's.
January 31, 2006 at The Franciscan School (L 18-40)
The girls were beaten by a very good shooting team.
January 19, 2006 vs. Our Lady of Lourdes at Old Cardinal Gibbons (L 29-31)
Both teams played extremely well. Lourdes shot extremely well in the 3rd quarter and were able to hold on after the girls put up a tremendous fight to come back.

In their best defensive effort of the season, the girls had an 18-1 lead at one point in the game.
January 12, 2006 vs. Our Lady of Lourdes (L 18-27)
The girls played a good first half, but had trouble scoring in the second half especially in the 4th quarter.
January 10, 2006 at St. Thomas More (W 23-20)
The girls were down 16-6 at halftime, but played stellar defense in the second half to come up with the victory.
January 5, 2006 vs. St. Michael's (L 24-44)
The girls played very well, but had difficulty against the 1st place team in the conference.
January 3, 2006 at Cary Christian (L 15-24)
The girls looked rusty after a long break and bad passes made in the future will be referenced to this game.

The girls played very well in a tough game in a tough environment.

The girls almost made an amazing comeback being down double digits late in the game.

After finding out about this game two days before, the girls had a rough first half down 14-5. They came back in the 2nd half for the victory.
