The girls had a very strong preseason with excellent practices. The team has been playing well together and everyone is playing well from the 8th grade down to the 6th grade and the 7th grade in between. We look for a strong start after Thanksgiving Break.
The girls are 4-2 with a game against Cary Christian going into Christmas Break. The girls have been playing excellent basketball and look to continue to improve and play well.
The girls continue to play well after Christmas break. Recently both team defeated a team they lost to in a previous meeting.
The JV team has completed their season with an 8-1 record. They played extremely well the entire season and improved greatly.
After an undefeated January, the girls are still looking for their first win in February. They look to do well at the Shamrock Tournament.
The girls had a very good Shamrock Tournament. They lost to a very tough Asheville Catholic team. They played very well, but the other team was just too tough. The girls dominated their second game.
This season has been the most successful season for the girls' basketball program. The records are the best ever and the team was always very competitive. Many individuals had outstanding seasons. All the girls showed a lot of improvement which bodes well for next year.
We will miss our 4 eighth grade players next year. They really gave their all to this team and are a big reason for our success. Next year we expect the 6th and 7th graders to follow their wonderful example and continue our success. Thanks to Amanda Krzywinski, Roni Bonner, Danielle Suprick, and Erin Walklet. We couldn't have done it without you.

The girls were able to end the season on a positive note with a dominating performance. The girls were leading 25-0 after 3 quarters of play.

This was an incredibly exciting game. The game was tied after the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarters. It was tied at 19, 21, 23, and 25 in the 4th quarter. The girls were able to score on a couple of plays late and stopped Lourdes from scoring.
