What is VIPS?

Volunteers in Parochial Schools(VIPS) is a committee of the Parent School Organization (PSO). Our goal is to enrich the learning experience of our children by involving parents in the support of teachers and staff. As requests from teachers and staff arise, we act as a clearinghouse to provide names of volunteers whose skills, talents, experiences, etc. match those needs.

If you would like to share your time, talents, and experiences with students and staff as a VIPS volunteer, please:

a) Obtain a Training Handbook from the school office or download one from this website. The Handbook contains information about volunteering, including how to get started.

b) Complete a VIPS Volunteer Information Form. Forms are available in the school office or can be downloaded from this website. Volunteer opportunities will be communicated by e-mail, targeted to individuals based on information provided on their Volunteer Information Forms.

c) Complete Volunteer Application Package:

Events should strive to heighten the special importance of our Catholic faith through fun, child oriented activities. Liturgical holidays should serve as the backbone for planning events.

Fundraising Committee

School Store Committee

Coordinate and implement activities throughout the year that express appreciation for the school staff. Celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week (typically in May) is encouraged.

Stewardship Committee

Responsible for developing and implementing projects throughout the school with the goal of inspiring students to be stewards of their school, parishes, and community.
