St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School, founded in Jubilee Year 2000, is a Catholic school located in Apex, North Carolina on a 27-acre campus.
St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School offers its students a quality Roman Catholic education in grades Kindergarten through eighth grade. There is a target of 26 students per class or 52 students per grade. Exceptions canl be made in order to avoid splitting families, fulfill financial obligations, or other reasons so deemed by the pastor and/or principal.
Acceptance to the K-8 program
Acceptance to St. Mary Magdalene School is based on each family's involvment in their church. Time, Talent, and Treasure (Bishop's Annual Appeal, weekly contributions, pledge campaigns). Inconsistent weekly church contributions to the church can lead to non-catholic rate ($6000 verses $4680).
October 16 of any given year is the cut-off date for pre-school (3 and 4 year olds) and kindergarden.
St. Mary Magdalene Church offers both a 3 year old and 4 year old preschool program.
3 Year Old Preschool Program (2 classes)
MWF 9:00-12:00
TTh 9:00-12:00
Each class has a maximum of 10 students with a teacher assistant.
4 Year Old Preschool (3 classes)
Half-Day AM 8:00-11:00
Half-Day PM 12:00-3:00
Full Day 8:00-3:00
Each class has a maximum of 22 students with a full time teacher assistant.
NOTE: Admission to any of these programs doesn't guarantee a seat in the kindergarten program.
